Rozafa Castle

Perched on the hill above Shkodër in the north-east of the country, this castle holds a prominent position overlooking the Bunë and Drin rivers and the south-eastern shore of Shkodër lake.

Bridge over troubled water

This wood and steel bridge still remains as a crossing point over the Bunër river. It was constructed during WWI and repaired after partial collapse in 2002. A new swing bridge to the west opened in 2010 to replace it.
