Legacy of the past...the bunkers of Albania
Dotted across the Albania countryside can be found over 700,000 concrete bunkers designed byAlfred Moisiu under the rule of Enver Hoxha starting in 1958 with the aim of averting external invasion of the country.

Bridge over troubled water
This wood and steel bridge still remains as a crossing point over the Bunër river. It was constructed during WWI and repaired after partial collapse in 2002. A new swing bridge to the west opened in 2010 to replace it.

Home to more than 64 types of fish and 240 varieties of bird, the lake is designated a national park by Montenegro.
